The Apollo Group are a construction and property services business who, when we first become involved with them, worked predominantly in the social housing sector providing refurbishment and regeneration works. Despite considerable growth since their humble beginnings, they were finding it extremely difficult to make the shift up into the next division and get themselves invited to tender for larger scale projects and in different sectors.
We worked directly with the Business Development Director and key board members to define their brand in terms of values, behaviour and positioning and to create a new brand architecture and identity system. This was based around a Group structure with divisional sub-brands beneath providing the opportunity to approach new markets with dedicated offers.
A big part of the work we've carried out for Apollo has been in creating an extensive library of unique photography. The shots we've taken serve a number of purposes from helping to build the brand story to creating context, communicating specific issues and demonstrating the quality of Apollo's workmanship.
The initial roll-out of the brand was internal to ensure buy-in at all levels – no mean feat given the geographical spread of their workforce.
Subsequent delivery took place across a wide range of outputs from identity bibles to vehicle livery, workwear, brochures and corporate reporting, newsletters and exhibitions.
We designed Apollo's website to provide them with a vital on-line presence. The site was built on a content management system to provide editorial control over much of the content of the site. This has been particular valuable in creating an up to date library of case studies across the various sectors in which Apollo operate.
