We were approached by this start-up business to create the name and brand identity for their new venture – a pop-up shop concept selling unusual, rare and intriguing clothes, gifts and home furnishings which would operate on an invitation only, shopping party basis. We worked closely with the client to come up with a name that reflected the personal nature of the business and the individuality that the founding partners brought to bear – 'Watts' and 'Scott' are the surnames of the 3 partners (there are 2 'Scott' sisters).
We created a distinctive and elegant logotype, simple in essence so as not to detract from the products themselves, and a striking colour palette with contrasting colours to create stand-out and develop recognition.
We designed company stationery including an interestingly shaped business card, price labels, stickers and signage for the pop-up shop. We also designed the party invitations which utilised the format of the logo to show some of the products on offer.
We photographed some of the products that Watts & Scotts sell and these have been utilised across marketing materials, such as the party invitations.
We also photographed some of the initial parties for our client to use for their own PR and promotion.
