This traditional country inn underwent a significant change upon the arrival of a new owner – a talented and enthusiastic chef patron. The vision was to transform the Rose & Crown from a pub that serves food to a vibrant gastropub.
We worked with the owner to define the brand from the inside out and created the platform he would subsequently use to build a talented team and a solid reputation. We created a new identity system to reflect the change whilst taking care not to alienate local and existing customers.
The quality of the food & drink on offer is what makes the Rose & Crown great so we created a range of materials that tell the story of how their food gets 'from produce to plate'.
These included table booklets, postcards and flyers for a local food show and a new menu design.
We knew we needed to show off the Rose & Crown's food in its best possible light so we photographed a large number of mouth watering dishes focussing on the quality of the ingredients as well as the overall finished presentation. We supported this with a number of shots showing the team hard at work in the kitchen.
