Zeal have produced a brand new website for gas, energy, maintenance and mechanical services supplier, Liberty Group.
Built on a simple, customised content management system, the new website gives Liberty a more substantial on-line presence than before.

“I was fortunate enough to be involved in a little bit of history yesterday when I visited the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices in Ipswich, Suffolk, where the Duchess of Cambridge made her first public speech.
“As part of a crowd of 200 lucky ticket holders, we waved our Union Jack flags as Kate Middleton arrived to meet with the children, before planting a commemorative tree in the EACH gardens.
“The sunny weather and excitable atmosphere helped make it a really special day.”

Zeal were engaged by the Whats Your Life Like? team to design the brand identity and launch phase of this exciting new social networking website.
Phase 2 of the site has now been developed by the Living Group.

Had an afternoon trip to sunny Felixstowe on Friday to photograph a new office installation for Officescape.
Part of their project was to hang photographic prints of images captured from around the dock.
I had a bit of fun creating a real 14 star sun burst, without the use of filters or the need for Photoshop!

Got this new app called Snapseed. It’s really fun to use and you can quickly edit your photos with the swipe of a button.

Zeal were on the judging panel as Calvors brewery in Suffolk, named as winners of The One competition 2011.
The £50,000 prize included £10,000 worth of design consultancy and creative services from Zeal Design, as well as PR consultancy from Voice Communications, legal support from Ellisons Solicitors and advertising in the EADT and accountancy advice, SEO and other services from a collection of other local businesses.
Alec Williamson of Calvors, said of his win: “This is an incredibly exciting time for Calvors and we are absolutely delighted to have won, as the prize is going to make such a difference to our business at this crucial time. We can’t wait to get the ball rolling as we take the brand nationwide.”
Zeal will be working on the Calvors brand and website in the near future, we’ll let you know when it’s in our portfolio.
Last year’s winner Edward Halls, of the Rose & Crown Gt. Horkesley, was also a judge on the panel for The One.

Zeal have refreshed the old logo and created a new brand and website with a user-friendly CMS for landscape gardening company, Haskett.
The brief was to keep the overall look and feel quite traditional, with a neutral, earthy colour palette and the new website showcases Haskett’s gardening projects beautifully.
The scale of their projects differs with each client yet there’s always an emphasis on high quality and personal service, which is reflected throughout the website.

Went to see Rihanna last night at the O2 London – she’s incredibly fit (athletic!) Great atmosphere, she knows how to put on a show!

Just entered myself for an IronMan distance triathlon. What was I thinking? I run, cycle but can’t swim, but I guess that’s what arm bands are for…
Will be training for the big event from now on, it’s a shame Christmas is right around the corner!

After a tricky decision, one of Zeal’s founding partners, Paul Dymond, has decided to up sticks and move back to Dyson in rural Wiltshire.
Paul has been a fantastic Creative at Zeal, business partner to Darren and mentor to Emma for the past 6 years and, though he shall be missed, Zeal will keep on truckin’ as an exciting and dynamic design business. All of the work undertaken at Zeal always has, and always will be, based around a team effort.
Paul’s leaving ‘do’ happened to fall on the same night as a Britney Spears concert, so what better way to finish than with a dirty burger and mime-a-long to the princess of pop!
We wish Paul all the best for the future and apologise for putting him through the Britney gig (though we’re sure he loved it really!)

Following on from the success of last year’s product catalogues, Zeal were once again commissioned by BrandArt to design the new set for 2012.
The look and overall design for the 2012 catalogues evoked the feeling of quality products, a fun personality and great customer service. More product ranges were introduced this year, including the brightly coloured Zing range and the introduction of Crazy Crystals.
We came up with new and exciting brand imagery, including the abstract rainbow slinky shot which was used on the ringbinder cover and subsequently rolled-out across other promotional items.

Holidaying on Lake Garda, out on a boat with the camera, it’s a little bumpy but at 1/320 sec i’d thought i’d get away with it ! Only just.

Zeal have completed a re-positioning and re-branding exercise for Ellisons Solicitors, one of the largest and longest established legal firms in East Anglia.
The new branding was successfully rolled out across a wide range of communications and marketing materials.
